TARGET AUDIENCE: COLLEGE-AGE THROUGH ADULT

"I know the plans I have for you..."

Devin seemingly reads spectators thoughts, demonstrates telekinesis, and predicts future outcomes; however, he claims no supernatural powers. God is the ultimate mind reader - He knows our words before we speak them (Psalm 139:4). And God can do better than telekinesis, He possesses all control over the physical world; after all, He created it (Genesis 1:1). And of course, God knows the future (Jeremiah 29:11).

If people think what Devin Henderson does is amazing, how much more should they be amazed by what God can do! In this entertaining and inspiring program, Devin performs his Mentalism Act and concludes the presentation with a message about God's greatness and His love.

Devin's message is simple. God knows everything about us, including our sinful thoughts and actions, yet He loves us. With that love comes an amazing plan for each of our lives. However, since our will is not always His will, at times we must allow God to give us "A Change of Plans." His plan will bring Him more glory than our plan ever will. Besides, when we make plans, God is ultimately the One who decides where those plans lead in the end, as evidenced in Proverbs 16:9 - "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps."

"To test Him, they asked Him for a sign from Heaven..."

Water to Wine. Feeding the 5,000. Raising Lazarus from the dead...Devin performs these miracles right before the audience’s very eyes. Well, sort of. In this highly comical magic show, Devin imitates a few of Jesus' most famous miracles only to make it clear that his "miracles" are simply illusions. He then points out that when Christ performed these acts, they were illusions of no kind - they were true miracles. This program offers a picture of how powerful God is and how He demonstrated the greatest act of love through a miracle.

Devin performs 'Magic vs. Miracles' for churches, camps, Upward banquets, ministry outreach events, youth rallies, and conferences across the nation. Some churches are reluctant to use a magician as a guest speaker because of an apparent association of the art of magic with "Harry Potter-type" wizardry. However, this presentation is one that addresses that very concern. Devin makes it clear that he has no special powers – he even teaches the spectators a simple magic trick they can do.

This program has been designed so that the audience becomes lost in the "magic" before they are presented with any spiritual application. At the conclusion of the show, not only has the audience been entertained, they have been presented with truths about Christ's ministry and the Gospel message. People of all ages walk away with a smile, as well as a challenge to walk more closely with Christ or perhaps put their trust in Him for the very first time.

Devin has a very unique gift of connecting and communicating with audiences of all ages. If you’re looking for someone creative, fun, entertaining, and engaging, I would, without any reservation, highly recommend Devin Henderson...just be sure and hold on to your watch!
